An easy way for melee characters to defeat the Grim Reaper is to dual-wield Daggers and hit it repeatedly with normal attacks.Keeping the Elsinore Ghosts alive by luring the Grim Reaper away with Ranged Attack or magic allows the player to use Charge on one of the ghosts to evade Grim Reaper Windmill. The character should avoid using skills, as this could break the combo. Due to the rapid hits landing so frequently on the Grim Reaper, he will most likely be unable to use skills or teleport away. Giants are capable of using Knuckles and a pet with a melee-only AI set to do a no-skill wail.Using pets that have a melee-only AI is very effective, but be sure to stock up on Phoenix Feathers. When it uses Grim Reaper Windmill (signified by raising its scythe in the air and spinning around), run away in a straight line to get away from it.However, it still moves around frequently, so focus on its movements. Stick near the Grim Reaper's sides and, preferably, back, as they are safe from its horizontal and vertical attacks.Using ranged attacks with a spirited or upgraded Leather Long Bow is fairly effective, since it allows you to keep your distance. When a white ghastly aura appears around the Reaper, it is stunned. If a large amount of damage is done, the Grim Reaper may become stunned. Using Windmill or Smash is not recommended due to large animation delays that may cause you to get hit.Powerful single-hit skills are effective due to its high defense.Capable of being stunned, being unable to retaliate. If it is defeated while it is still using Grim Reaper Windmill it will automaticly use it before it drops dead.It may instantly retaliate with Grim Reaper Windmill for every time it is hit by Shock. The G13 version has a slower AI than the normal one.It may be difficult for melee users due to its Grim Reaper Windmill.Advanced magic such as Thunder's charges will miss if it uses Grim Reaper Windmill.During this period, the player's HP, Mana, and Stamina will be rapidly drained. If the player is hit by any of the above attacks, small skulls will float around the player.RTA (2/10): He is not really recommended here, unless your opponent has no immunity monsters which rarely ever happens. Guild Wars (7/10): Sath is good here too, just not against immunity monsters like Fran. Labyrinth (8/10): He can be used in many stages here.ĭimensional Hole (10/10): He is good in the elemental restriction and the star restriction stages.Īrena (3/10): In Arena he can be used but there's a lot of RNG since monsters have more resistance which will require more accuracy. Rift of Worlds (0/10): He serves no purpose here. PC10 (10/10): He has a similar role in Punisher Crypt B10 as in SF10. SF10 (10/10): He serves the same role here as he does in GB12 and DB12. Keep in mind DoT's do not affect the Main Boss'. ToA (9/10): He is an excellent dots and CC monster for ToA normal and hard. PC10 (8/10): He again is great for a DoT's team in Punisher Crypt, however, it is less reliable and you'll want to take the boss down as quickly as possible. SF10 (10/10): He is top notch for a DoT's team in Steel Fortress. SB10 (0/10): The Spiritual Realm cleanses the DoT's too fast for him to useful really. NB10 (0/10): He doesn't have enough multi hits to break through the boss' shield and the boss cleanses himself each time. This team works until you can build a speed team. Make sure you target the right tower and bring an ATK bar stripper like Loren with you to prevent immunity. GB10 (10/10): Sath is an insane monster here due to his passive which 2x the damage of DoTs! Pair him with lots of DoTs monsters and the Giant will go down quickly.ĭB10 (5/10): He is great for taking down the Dragon with a DoTs team.
